Are Sore Throat And Rashes On Groin Symptoms Of HIV Infection?

hi i have viginal sex with a woman 2 month ago and after 10 days i suffered from cellulitus infection on my foot and its wound take 8 weeks to heal and now i have sore throat and feeling heavy head and rashes on groin. i am worry about HIV. is that hiv symptoms.

You have not mentioned whether it was protected vaginal intercourse or not. If it is unprotected sex than definitely there are chances of getting HIV infection if your partner is HIV positive. As far as symptoms of delayed healing of cellulitis wound along with sore throat and rashes on groin they might be due to some other infection also because the symptoms of acute retro-viral syndrome also take at-least 15 days to develop after the exposure. I will advice you to go for 4th generation HIV test after 15 days to be completely sure about your status. Thank You
