Are Steroids Advisable While On Panafcortelone Prescribed For Sinus Infection?

I have been subscribed panafcortelone 25mg two tabs daily for three days, to hopefully alleviate syntoms of sinus and chest infections that have not responded to two scripts of augmenton forte.. I take Brufen for knees and have Eyelea injections 6 - 7 weekly for wet macular. Next Eyelea is due on 14 Dec. is it safe to take the steroid and should I stop the Brufen for the next few days? I have also benn prescribed klacid antibiotic. Thank you..

I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Sinusitis with AMD with arthritis.
As you are on panafcortelone- which in itself is steroid,you shouldn't use more steroids for brufen replacement.Instead you should ask your attending doctors for this replacement.
In My opinion you can skip few days brufen with lot of knee care.Continue klacid for Sinusitis.But don't miss your Scheduled- Eyelea injection for AMD.
