Are Stiffness And Swelling On Left Side Of Neck Related?

I have swelling on the left side of the neck. It is soft with no discernable lumps. Their is no pain in the area but I have some stiffness in vertebra of the neck that causes an ache that comes up and around to the forehead. Ibuprofen helped relieve the ache. Are the two related? I am more concerned about the swelling.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the swelling could be lymph node, lipoma, acne may not be due to this but lymph node could be due to acne, it could be just swelling and not the infection and these are not related with each others hope this information hopes.
I find this answer helpful
