Are Sunburns, Hives And Lump Neat My Collarbone Related?

On Wednesday I rolled on some Icy Hot Pain Medicine on my neck arm and shoulder because I couldn t hardly lift my arm. I had a sunburn on the neck and shoulder that I believed caused me to have allergic reaction. I broke out in hives on those areas the next day. Still today I am still broke in hives, I took Benedryl every 4 hrs yesterday and also started a round of steroids last night and have applied calamine drying lotion for 3 days. I noticed a lump near my collarbone near shoulder. Couldn t all this be related? Thanks

Hello,

Without an exam, I can only give general information. dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them.

And lumps can be collections of immune cells (lymph nodes) you don't generally get them from this sort of immune reaction but it is possible.

Because of the localization and putting on the creme right before the hives, you can't say for sure but it certain ly seems like they are the cause.
