Hi,

In estrogen receptor positive cases of breast cancer, definitely Hormonal treatment is mainly recommended. These hormones prevent the activity of estrogens, which cause activation of cancerous cell in Breast. Testosterone is prescribed to achieve this aim. Of course, other modalities like chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery may also be needed along with hormone therapy. This decision is to be taken only by your treating doctor.

It is a good thing in your case, that you had a complete hysterotomy. The researches show that there are 30% more chances of survival with complete hysterotomy as compared to the patients, in which uterus and/or ovaries are preserved.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
