Are The Blood Sugar Levels Normal?

Hi I checked my blood sugar level in the morning without eating anything. It was 6.

I also checked my blood sugar level yesterday evening after eating a piece of bread and some fruits and it was 7.6. Will you please advise if this reading is ok? Thanks

Diabetologist 's  Response
hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

For the majority of healthy individuals, normal blood sugar levels are as follows:

Normal blood glucose level in humans is about 4 mM (4 mmol/L or 72 mg/dL)
When operating normally the body restores blood sugar levels to a range of 4.4 to 6.1 mmol/L (82 to 110 mg/dL)
Shortly after a meal the blood glucose level may rise temporarily up to 7.8 mmol/L (140 mg/dL)

The blood sugar levels you have mentioned are normal as of now. Please keep active lifestyle.

Hope this guides you. For any other queries you can write to us. we will be happy to help you. Thank you.
