Are The Bumps On The Vagina A Symptom Of Herpes?

hi. I just went to the doctor today and I am scared because she said I may have genitle herpes. I have been with my boyfriend for 5 months and this has never happened before. I know he doesnt have herpes but the symptoms I have sound the same. I have burning when urinating, bumps all over the vulva of my vagina. There are tons of them. They look like there is fluid in them and they are sore. please help
