General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
From the semen analysis report you have posted, the following things can be inferred.
1. Volume of 2 ml can be considered as normal.
2. Total sperm count with 74 million is also normal.
3. Sperm motility with 35% rapidly progressive, 15% sluggishly progressive and non-progressive and immotile amounting to 50% is below normal findings.
4. Sperm morphology with abnormal forms of 15% is a acceptable.
5. Fructose test should be positive and it is.
5. Pus cells absence rules out presence of any infection.
Hence, the fertility levels seems to be less than normal, mainly because of defect in motility of sperms sperms.
Kindly take medications containing L-carnitine, Alpha lipoic acid, CoQ10, Vitamin E, Selenium, Zinc and Lecithin for a month, which would help to provide adequate nourishment during the process of maturation of sperms. You can repeat the semen analysis again to look for the necessary improvement.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
