Are The Findings Shown In The Following Transvaginal Ultrasound Normal?
can you interpret my tans v ultrasound? findings shows that the cervix measures 2.50 x 1.99cm. thin-walled anechoic foci are seen within, the largest measuring 0.41cm, likely representing nabothian cysts. The uterus is retroverted and normal in size measuring 5.66 x 4.76 x 4.43 cm (CCxWxAP). It has smooth border with homogeneous parenchymal echopattern. No distinct myometrial lesions noted. The endometrium is echogenic and thickened measuring 0.77 cm. The right ovary measures 3.29 x 1.88 x 1.58 cm with an approximate volume of 5.1ml. The left ovary measures 2.61 x 2.13 x 1.12 cm with an approximate volume of 3.25 ml. No adnexal mass seen. The posterior cul-de-sac is unremarkable. please interpret the findings.thanks
As such the trans vaginal report is showing almost all normal parameters except small Nabothian cyst, which if asymptomatic does not require intervention or stress. However, any report has to be co-related with underlying symptoms and if the same is being available during next session, I would be highly obliged to assist you in further greater details as per my surgical expertise in this field.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
