Are The Following Blood Test Findings Normal?

I am 76 years of age - female. Your opinion of these readings?? My hematocrit is 48.8% (fasting), My MCHC is 31.7% (fasting), and RDW is 15.1%(fasting). My other readings done same time and fasting: Total cholesterol 235 mg, HDL is 122 mg LDL is 102 Glucose is 105mg Creatinine 0.97mg Are these readings okay? A friend said I should donate blood to bring levels to normal. True? I have never donated blood.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

All your tests are okay except total cholesterol is a bit high. You should do some life style modification for it like low fat diet. Keep yourself hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Andy, General and Family Physician
