Are The Present HIV Results A Good Indication Of Infection Status?

Hi, I tested for HIV using the OraQuick at home test one week prior to the 3 month window mark. The results were negative. I plan on testing again at the 6 month mark just to be sure, but for a little peace of mind are the results a good/ decent indication of my status since it was a week early?

Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your doctor I would like to advice you that your result is good. In most of the cases the result is right even before week. so do not worry regarding your result. wait and check after 6 month with repeat test. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank; Infectious Disease Specialist
