Yes, thank you. I ve had some kind of aggressive infection on my skin for several months now, and delayed diagnosis and treatment as I was in Spain for six months when it started. My G.P. cried out shingles as soon as she saw it, but then decided it is probably a fungal infection because of how long I ve had it. She prescribed Fluconazole, which I ve taken for a week now to no avail. The rash is very itchy and painful. I also have MRSA. What is this, and how can I get rid of it? It s difficult wearing closed-toe shoes now that it s wintertime as a large patch of the rash is on top of my feet and ankles. It s also progressed up my legs. It began, oddly enough, when I drank a couple of Spanish beers, and began on my arms and hands, so I initially thought the rash might be an allergic reaction to yeast. What are your thoughts? Thank you so much for your kind assistance.
