Are The Sgpt 45 & Sgot 27 Levels Normal?

I got infected with jaundice (hepatitive a 2.74) in june 2013..today i had blood test..my sgpt is 45( 0 to 40).sgot is 27( 0 to 40).total bilirubin is 1.2( normal 1.2 in that lab)..is this normal? i want to take medical test to go abroad!!! Will there be any problem..?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The normal levels of SGOT and SGPT are below 40 IU/L.
The values that you have mentioned are normal.
A little variation (upto 45) in the presence of normal other liver function tests (bilirubin 1.2 mg/dl) suggests that there is no disease process affecting the hepatocytes.
There is nothing to worry.
You can get the liver function tests done after few weeks to monitor the status of liver.
