Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Are The Tremors With Numbness Symptoms Of Parkinson S Disease?
I am a 36 yr old female who recently due to primary hyperparathyroidism, had 2 tumors removed on the right side of my neck, had the right part of my thyroid removed as well due to multiple nodules on it, and the horn of the thymus removed. I had surgery 6 days ago, and about 4 days ago I started having these tremors really bad. Looks like I have Parkinsons Disease. I take ALOT of calcium, due to constantly feeling numb.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that the Parkinson is very unlikely in female patient and your history of tremor could be due to the thyroid dysfunction and this need to be rule out , hope tis information helps you take care and have a nice day.
