Are There HIV Infection Chances After Licking A Women?

Hi,Am Dr Mahesh.Its unlikely that virus will get trasfered through oral cavity unless you have bleeding tendency.Blood attracts the virus.Therotically about 2000ml of saliva getting transfered will get HIV seroconverted.And most important is the other person even though if HIV positive need not transfer HIV each time.The chances are less than 0.5%.More ever if the partner is willing get checked for HIV at any ICTC center which is free of cost and confidential.Still in doubt then get checked.Transmission is very unlikely.Regards.
