Are There Alternative Uric Acid-lowering Medications That Won’t Lower My Platelet Count Like Allopurinol?

Hi I am 87 years old, and I have high uric acid levels and have been taking Allopurinol, but its side effects have caused a decrease in my platelet count, which has now dropped to 50 × 10^9/L. Are there any other medications to lower uric acid that do not have the side effect of reducing platelet count?
