Are There Alternative Ways For A Sex Change Apart From Reassignment Surgery?

How can I stop my erections forever. I am trying to live as a woman and successfully growning breasts. For some reason I still have erections alot. My boyfriend finds it unattractive when I get hard. He knows im really a woman on the inside but reassignment surgery is to costly. Is there an anti viagra type thing to stop this.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The sex reassignment surgery is the only option for your solution, but there are anti androgen agents available, which can numb your penis erection for sure. As there are lot many side effects of anti androgen therapy, it is best way to discuss the relevant details with your doc before taking any steps ahead in this direction.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
