Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Flucloxacillin With Food?
I ve taken my flucloxacillin about 15min ago and just had some soup as i forgot it shouldn t be taken with food I ve had a gastric bypass 2 weeks ago and I ve not been to clever with food so has i hadn t eaten anything today made some soup will i be ok

It is advisable to take flucloxacillin 1 hour before or 2 hours after meal. The reason for this is food may affect the absorption of this medicine leading to decreased effect.
As such, there is no adverse interaction between food and flucloxacillin, so you should not develop any side effects due to this.
