Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Ginette 35?

Hi,
I have been taking ginette 35 for the last 4 months... different times of the day but almost regularly - sometimes missing one a month. I had unprotected sex about 12 hours ago and he ejaculated inside me. Will I get pregnant even though I am on ginette 35?

Thanks for writing to us.

GINETTE 35 is combined hormonal pill and contains Cyproterone acetate & Ethinyl estradiol as active ingredients.

It is WEAK contraceptive pill and NOT a full reliable to prevent unwanted pregnancy. If you are on fertile period, then you may get pregnant as your partner ejaculated inside vagina.

I suggest you took an emergency pill within 72 hrs to avoid pregnancy and do one home pregnancy test if you miss next period.

Practice safe sex and good luck.
