Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Metformin 850 & Glygard 80 Mg?

Hi, my mum is taking accord metformin 850 and Glygard 80mg for her diabetes but she is experiencing severe hot flushes, we would like to know if the meds has anything to do with this prob? She is currently visiting from SAfrica, we live in Australia, the meds is from SAfrica

Hello,
The most common side effects of these medicines are Gastro intestinal in nature like nausea,vomiting,bloating,abdominal cramping,diarrhea etc.
Hot flashes are not the side effects of these medicines and could be due to her menopause.
