Are There Any Side Effects Of Using Hormone Supplement Pills?

I have hypothryroid since 7 years which onsetted during my first pregnancy and it still persisit. I have been taking tablets ranging from the dosage 25mcg to 75mcg depending on the regular test results. After my second pregnancy am in thyronorm 50 mcg. 1. Are there are any side effects of these hormone suppliment pills 2. I have two children(both gals) they did not have thryoid issues on their new born screening, Do I need to check their thyroid levels on regular intervals ?

since you are regularly taking medicine after taking thyroid hormon essay. dose and nature of drug youare taking are corect. keepin touch with endocrinologist and regulate your medication.it will not effect your children. there is noneed tocheck their hormone level unless there is indication after clinicalexamination. signs and symptoms are more important.
