Are There Any Side Effects Of Using Inhaler For Mild Persistent Asthma?

good morning doctor,my son is 2yrs 7 months old and suffering from mild persistent asthma.doctor prescribed to use Budecort inhaler morning and night,then monticope suspension 3.5ml in night for a month as preventive measure, in case of wheezing Levolin inhaler..Is there any side effects?

There are side effects of steroids if used on long term basis, steroid induced weight gain, glaucoma cataract extra. .stay in touch withyour doctor to taper the treatment when not required
