Are There Any Studies To Show That Taking An Ambien Might Impact The Outcome Of The MRI?
I will take an MRI on Tuesday and would like to take an ambien tonight. Are there studies to show that taking an ambien might impact the outcome of the mRI. I last took an ambien 3 weeks ago and have not serious health issue. I am having the MRI because periodic delayed cognitive functions. The delayed cognitive function is sporadic and has happened about 3 times in the last four months.
Ambien (zolpidem) is a sedative and is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia by helping you fall asleep. It will not cause any problem in your MRI imaging test results. You can safely take ambien if you are feeling restless and need to have problems falling asleep for tonight. Regular intake of ambien must be only after asking your doctor.
