Hello and welcome to HCM,
Head trauma should be followed by a CT scan of the head and neck region.
Injury to the brain tissue can be detrmined by CT scan.
Since, your daughter has had head trauma and aphasia (aphasia is difficulty in getting words).
The bruising of the brain tissue is the most probable cause of aphasia.
Tests are not required at this point of time.
Management of head trauma is required.
Consult your treating doctor for management of bruising to the brain tissue.

Thanks and take care
