Are There Chances Of Conceiving At Perimenopausal Stage Without Taking Birth Control Pills At 56?
I'm a 56-year old woman in perimenopause. My doctor has told me that my chances of getting pregnant are little to none based on my irregular periods, missed periods for months at a time and other info I've related. I'm going to be sexually active again and don't plan on using birth control because my doctor said it wasn't necessary. My FSH hasn't reached the menopausal level. In any event, should I worry about conceiving?

Are There Chances Of Conceiving At Perimenopausal Stage Without Taking Birth Control Pills At 56?
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic It is not likely that you would conceive based on the fact that you state that you have irregular periods. If you are still not menopausal , however, it would be best to cover yourself till you reach this point to prevent accidental conception. I hope this helps
