Are These Common Symptoms Of Barrett S Disease, Hypertension And Hypothyroidism?

Hi, I am under a doctor s care for Barrett s disease, hypertension, and hypothyroidism. I work nights and have difficulty sleeping so I m easily fatigued, get diaphoretic repeatedly, and just recently developed several purple spots (which look like bruising) on my back. Are these symptoms common, medication side effects, reason to worry, solveable?

Hello,

Purple spots that seem like bruises, mostly on your back, but you do not recall any history of trauma as the cause, warrants a visit with your doctor.

Your doctor will need to do a thorough examination in your case, check the lymph nodes, liver and spleen and probably will ask for some blood tests to make sure coagulation and bleeding functions of the blood are normal.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
