Are Throbbing Right Arm And Chest Discomfort A Cause For Concern?
Hi, my husband is experiencing firstly pains, then throbbing, in his right arm...also he suffers discomfort across his chest and struggles to breath normally. This has been occurring for 2 - 3 weeks and usually happens after physical activity, walking the dog etc. He is 60 years old, there is a history of heart problems in his family, he lost both an uncle and his father to heart attacks. I have made a Dr s appointment for Tuesday..should he see someone now?
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having some osteo-artheritis changes in cervical spines producing pinched nerve pressure. But as pain and discomfort increases during walking and physical activity, any cardiac ailment like angina should be ruled out. Go for EKG or TMT after consulting cardiologist. Meanwhile avoid more physical activity and brisk walking. Ok and take care.
