Are Thyroid Cancer And Herniated Discs At C5 And C6 Related?

is there any connection between thyroid cancer and herniated discs c5 and c6? 2 years ago i had surgery to remove 1/2 of the thyroid due to cancer and before they removed the 2nd half i was in a car accident. should i be worried any cancer may be back?
