Are Upset Stomach, Vomiting And Painful Cramps Signs Of Seizure?
Two days ago my boyfriend woke up to find me biting my tongue and cheek and my arms and hands by my face clinching them. He said he try to get my mouth open but couldn t get it open. Then He said it looked like my eyes where rolled back then I smiled like in a daze. When I woke up I couldn t get out of bed. It felt like I had leg cramps all over my body and still do. When I try to eat it puts a painful feeling done the right side of my chest. That first day I have a really upset stomach and was vomiting. Could this have been a seizure? Do I need to go to the hospital or my DR?
It is quite possible that you had an episode of the nocturnal seizure (generalized tonic–clonic )and post-ictal symptoms like leg cramps and muscle pain etc. Contraction of the jaw muscles during seizure cause biting of the tongue. You need to see a Neurologist. Witness to the event is your boyfriend who also may be interviewed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
