im 37 weeks prego i have been contracting since 7 last night when i left l&d at midnight i was 1 cm went to my doc appointment i was 2 cm i start feeling like i had to poop today and when i do very lil comes out or just mucus comes out im still contract and now i have pressure in my hips the doc said he can feel baby's head and she is in position how long can it take for me to dialte more and is this labor

One your cervical dilated to 4 cm after that it's called active stage of delivery.
In first delivery ones women enter the active labour she will deliver baby with in 6 to 8 hours.
