Are Vertigo And Seizures Indicative Of A Mini Stroke?

my mother has vertigo - (as well as atrial fibrillation, stage three renal failure, congestive heart failure, hypothryroid). My concern today is that every time we help her to the commode, when she sits she has what seems like a seizure, she is unresponsive, her left arm goes limp, and her eyes stare blankly or roll back. In 10 seconds to about a minute she comes back...the healthcare worker doesn t seem phased by this and thinks its a seizure puts her back to bed...i want to see if it is possibly a mini stroke and whether it should be taken more seriously

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

They a new onset seizure is always always an ominous sign .

I would advise you to consult the neurologist asap and he will advise you a MRI scan to look for any brain involvement and bleeds.

Hope I have answered your query.
