Are Wearing Compression Socks And Raising Legs Enough To Treat Varicose Veins, Slight Calf Swelling, Occasional Brownish Discoloration, And Night Cramps?

I have varicose veins in left leg and now have occasional brownish discoloration. There is slight swelling of my calf. I walk, hike or bike most days and legs are not painful. I wear compression socks, up to the knee I am not overweight: 5 and 113 lbs. I know I need to raise my legs more often. I get occasional cramps overnight. Do I need to consider doing anything else?
