Are White Patches With Pain In Throat A Cause For Concern?

My throat was hurting Dec 24th by Dec 25 my throat was in pain and there was white all in my throat. My mom gave me some amoxicillin pills to drink. On Dec 27 my sister gave me a penicillin shot but today my throat is still hurting just as much and my throat is still white. Is the medication still working or is it worse than I expected? Should I go to the hospital?

HI
Well come to HCM
Most of the time such throat condition could be due to allergic condition and that does not need any antibiotic, initially this can only be treated with the medicines given below
1) Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg once in day
2) Tab Ibuprofen once in day
3) Tab levocetrizine 10 mg once in day
have saline water gargle, if fever is there then better to get done the blood test, hope this information helps, take care.
