Are Wives And Children Of Juvenile Diabetics Affected With Depression, Mood Swings?
Sir, I am a Professor in Nursing and currently wanting to do a study, To assess the psychological problems among the wives and children of Juvenile Diabetics . Do you agree with me that the wives and children of Juvenile diabetics are affected with depression , mood swings, emotional disorders etc., Will I get enough samples ?( wives and children -6-12 years of Juvenile Diabetics). Please guide me.

there is a big discussion going on abt depression and diabetes. ist depression causes DM or DM causes depression . anyhow diabetes is a life long prob, and every now and then you have to check bl sugar level and that itself causes mental agony , anxiety and depression . that too juvenile DM is really a real problem due to insulin injections daily and always worried abt getting hypoglycemia etc. and noone is mentally matured enough to accept this . now tell me ist possible to be balanced or stable ? when you have a controllable disease but not curable one the physical ailment will for sure affect the mental health . so its natural to have wat all you said . sumathi
