At 64 I was in the prime of health workiong 10 hours a day but suffered a hand cut in 2007 which introduced septocemia in the blood & ever since I have had A fib. Now, I am 72 & in good healthy condition but I have been under heart doctor's care & have had two ablations for a fib. During the ablation, blockage to the heart vessels was discovered. a Lexiscan (nuclear scan) & angiraam have been performed it seems that there is 20 -25% blockage in seven heart vesseles & I have never had angia pain but feel very fatigued when strenuious or long stand occurs, The doctor are evaluating the situation.. not only mentioned stenting or bypass surgery & nothing about chemical treatment or arthorecctomy or any other proceedure my BP is 139 0ver 79 average. my cholestrol is 45 good & 143 bad workng on reversing that ! I am 6'2" 255 a former fullback withlarge bones weighed 244 in highscool & 260 in college. athletic...Twice a week Martial Arts tai chi & swimming How can I learn more about other possibilities of preventive medicine???
