At What Age Is Rhinathiol Syrup Prescribed?

My son is 2 months old had cold and had a lung infection (not severe). Our Pediatrician prescribed antibiotics and Rhinathiol Syrup. We bought both and finished with antibiotics. When we looked at the details of Rhinathiol Syrup, note that can be given this only from the age of 2. Don t know how our pediatrician prescribed in that case.
