hi. i have a baby who is 1 yr old now. she has a squint. we are taking treatment from a squint specialist from pune. he has suggested a surgery. my question is at which age we should go for the surgery? if we go now will it have any adverse effect on eye/vision? will there be chances of improving the squint at later age without surgery?
surgery can be undertaken at best before 9 years. because after this age amblyopia can not be treated. so regarding age the squint surgeon should decide.
