At What Point Is A High Pulse Rate High Enough To Go To The ER?

I've been at rest for at least 3 hours and have a resting heart rate of 116. I don't feel like it's high enough to go the emergency room, but I don't know how high it has to be to do that. I plan to call my doctor in the morning. At what point is a high pulse rate high enough to go to the ER?

Hi There

Once you start feeling discomfort in your chest or you feel other symptoms like light headedness or dizzy or feel like fainting you should get yourself medically evaluated.
But I would like to suggest that why not we should keep ourselves fit so as to avoid going to ER.
1. Go for daily morning walks 45 mins a day for 5 days a week
2. Eat healthy avoid junk food.
3. Do not smoke if you do.
4. Don't take excess salt and too much spicy food.
4. Stay stress free.

Practice this healthy lifestyle habits regularly for 3 months and then maintain it and you will be in good shape.

I wish you good health
