Back Pain. Urine Culture Shows Protein, Blood, WBCs. Ultrasound Shows Black Holes. Causes?

i had a ultrasound of my kidneys because once a month for the last 3 month i have been having lower back pain . my urin cultures came back with normal bacteria but with protein and blood and white blood cells in it. so when i was watching the ultra sound , i saw a bunch of (what appeared to be) little black holes. what could this be?

Thanks for writing your query.
I would like to know few things like :-
1. Are you having fever also?
2. Are you diabetic?
3. Are you taking some medicines?
4. What is your age?
Presence of blood, protein and white blood cells along with back pain indicate that there is infection in the urinary tract.
You should drink plenty of pure water.
Also get your Kidney Function Test done.

Hi

Welcome to HCM.
Ultrasound interpretation is difficult, unless trained.
Black in ultrasound means fluid and if it is in the kidney area means urine.

The tests you have done so far probably infection in the urine.
Pls meet a doc, show the reports and get reassured.
