General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! Possibly you have got a severe attack of common cold. I would suggest you to consult an ENT specialist of your area, who may suggest some antibiotic for you apart from decongestant medications. You can also have regular simple steam inhalations at home which is very helpful and soothing in common cold. However, with your history, you may have to go for a chest x ray and some other investigations, if your symptoms increase or gets prolonged. You may have to consult your treating doctor for the same. Wish you an early recovery.
