Bald Area On The Frontal Hairline With Red Spots And Scabs. Lead A Stressful Life. Help?

I am a 28 year old female and I have developed a bald area on the left of center frontal hairline. I first noticed it about 6 weeks ago and I think it may have gotten slightly bigger since I first discovered it. It is not circumscribed nor is it flaky or itchy. However, the spot gets very red with even the lightest touching and the hairs around the bald area have tiny scabs wherethe hairs meet the scalp. Only recent changes in life include starting amoxicillin in February and recent stressful life event. This has never happened to me before and no one in my family has ever experienced balding.

Thanks for the question .
From your history and description of the condition , it looks like you have got a condition called Alopecia Areata. This is associated with stress and anxiety . The best option for treatment would be to take steroid injection in to the site . This will give the fastest growth return in the area and will also take care of the surrounding scabbing .
