Based On My TT3, TT4 And TSH Results, Are LFT Required?

I am a female of 34. Range of TT3 is 87.42 & TT4 is 7.9 but TSH is 9.73. Taking 0.25 mcg of thyroxine since 2 months
1.Are Antibodies test and liver function tests required?
2. What diet is to be taken or leave?
3.How many days should I stop take medicine before recheck my tsh level?

Thank you for trusting HCM.
since you have hypothyroidism that is not central apparently in origin due to high TSH levels.
1. yes antibodies are needed, to rule out hashimoto's thyroiditis disease, other tests include neck ultrasound, iodine re-uptake test, MRI for head to asess pituitary size.
2. Normal healthy balanced diet.
3. Dont stop your medication before measuring your TSH, if you did so in the previous test please redo the test next time while on your medication, to measure if the doses you are taking are sufficient for the level of deficieny you have.
