Being A Smoker, What Could Abnormal Taste In Mouth When Coughing Indicate?

i don't have a cold but there are times i cough and the taste i get in my mouth is like like the taste you get when you have namonia (miss spelled i am sure!) but can anyone or does anyone have an idea what it is or could be. oh i should also let you know i am a smoker.

hello thanks for the consult a thcm..ammonia breath usually caused in kidney diseases,, do salt water gargle thrice daily,,clean ur tongue with a soft brush,,try stopping smoking,,either ways consult a periodontist and general physician for a check up and treatment,, hope it helps,,tc
