Best Alternative For Maxcide

I Need a drug to take the place of maxcide Ive been taking the one trimintine/htzand can only take half a pill when i cut them they crumble in to tiny pieces..I need something i can take the whole pill.I really got a long well with Maxcide but in surance won t pay .Thank You

Hi and thanks for asking in HCM forum. I am happy to answer your query. This drug is used to treat high blood pressure. This medication is a combination of two "water pills" (diuretics): triamterene and hydrochlorothiazide. Substitute for maxzide tab is Tab DYAZIDE (50mg/25mg), it contains same medications as maxzide. Along with anti hypertensive medications u should adapt life style modifications like restriction of salt in diet, regular physical activity. Regards. Dr Santosh
