Bilateral Swelling Of Supraclavicular Lymph Node, Swelling From Tick Bite Still Stays After Antibiotics. Solution ?

Yes, I have bilateral swelling of the supraclavicular lymph node area since 6/17. I had no other symptoms at the time. Dr put me on an antibiotic because I had a tick bite, but was only one me for about 30 mins. No rash or other symptoms. I have been on the antibiotic for 2 1/2 weeks and the swelling still persists, it goes up and down daily and gets pretty big. Now all of sudden today, I have a very sore throat almost as if a lump is in my throat.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello,
Supraclavicular lymph nodes should be examined , so consult an ENT specialist for examination .
You may require antibiotic coverage after examination and
Fine needle aspiration cytology of the swellings to get a tissue diagnosis.
This will help in further management as the supraclavicular nodes gets enlarged due to many reasons, not only infections .
