Bilirubin Total 0.9 What Does This Mean

I went to emergency yesterday because I had been feeling very tired and had some pain in my lower right abdominal area, I've also have just lately been noticing a yellow coating on my toungue. However they did some blood and urine test afterward the doctor asked me did I drink alcohol because he saw some abnormalities with my liver and he told me to follow up with my doctor. I drink on some occasion but very very rare. I had a reading on my lab test bilirubin total 0.9. What does this all mean?

Your total bili is normal. I guess he wanted to rule out alcohol induced hepatitis
