Bitten By A Stray Dog, Taken Rabipur Vaccine Course. Is This Treatment Safe And Diet To Follow?

Respected Doctor Good Morning On 16-02-2013 I am bitten by stray dog, same day I take treament (Rabipur Vaccine Course) form Government Dispensery, sector 19, Chandigarh. Now suggest me healthy diet and also tell me today this vaccine is safer or better than 30 year back vaccines used in india. kindly answer me soon . with regards

Rabies is a fatal disease,so you should complete vaccination as per schedule that is day 0,3,7,14,28.
Relax,modern day vaccines are totally safe. and better than older vaccines.
Regarding diet,there are no restrictions ,take well balanced diet and have plenty of fluids.
