I only started to take them today and I'm not expecting miracles, however the red cellulitis area has grown a further inch so now approx 5 inch circle and I am now get joint pain in the wrists and toes. The bite is on the lateral side of my left thigh.I have no shortness of breath and feel ok so should I give it another 24 hrs or so before pestering the doctor?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Your history suggests the inflammation is increasing. Prednisole is to prevent allergic reaction and antibiotic for infection. Take antiinlammatory drug (NSAID) with anti histamine. Continue your course of antibiotic completely. If the site is very pain ful and increasing in size then consult your doctor for examination and management. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
Regards Dr. Lohit
