Bitten By Insect, Painful, Not Itchy, Swollen, Neck Pain, Lumps Near Bite. Need To Get Checked?

I was bitten by something (possibly horsefly or spider?) the day before yesterday. It was painful (but not itchy) and swelled up considerably, till today where I've noticed the swelling to have reduced. However, I have a fair bit of neck pain radiating into my left shoulder, and an odd sensation in the left side of my face. There also seems to be a couple of small superficial nodule-like lumps that have developed lateral to the bite. I should mention the bite is just below the occipital region, left of midline. Is it worth having a physician look at it, or would waiting a few more days for symptom resolution be a preferable option?

I have read your problem.
you should take tab.chlorpheniramine maleate-CPM thrice a day,which gives u best result. You can take tab.Ibuprofen for ur pain.
Consult nearest Physician if symptoms not relieved in 2 days.

take antibiotic doxycycline 100 mg for 5 days to clear infection if any
take anti allergic tab cpm and fexofenadine
mild analgesic sos
liquid antacid bd
apply antibiotic mixed with anti allergic ointment in area bd
2-3 wk
