Black Eyes, Swelling, Having Cut Mark. Suggest Home Remedy Which Will Make It Heal Faster?

I got a black eye, its not major but it has spoiled my face. Its been a day. Could you please suggest something since its my birthday day after and i want to get rid of it. I got hit from a friends elbow by mitake , it left a cut too, swelling and a that black and blue mark under my eye. Please suggest some home remedy.

Hello,
The time to heal a black eye depends upon various factors like amount of damage,amount of bleeding and amount of swelling.
It generally takes from 5-6 to 10-14 days.
The usual course of a black eye is from black colour to purple colour and then greenish colour.
Home remedy involves icing locally for initial 48 hours and then applying warm compress.
Taking plenty of VIT C and water.
Local application of papaya or pineapple.
There is no shortcut method to make it heal fast.
Since it is your birthday after 2 days,you may use some concealer to camouflage it because there is no treatment available which can heal it in just 2 days.
